Kathakali has been a journalist for a decade and a half, working previously with The Telegraph and Times of India. An MA in political science and a Chevening Fellow, she is a feature writer covering themes as varied as sports, F&B, pop culture, startups. She hosts Sports UnLtd, a podcast on the business of sports, and runs a monthly column, From The Field, featuring elite athletes. She is also part of the newsdesk, where she edits and rewrites stories, and puts the print edition to bed. Kathakali is a sports nut and collects autographs as a hobby.
