People search for family members trapped inside collapsed houses a day after a 7.9-magnitude earthquake struck Nepal on April 25; the region was further shaken by a 6.7-magnitude aftershock the next day, the tremors of which were felt in north India. At the time of going to press, the death toll in Nepal had crossed 3,600 and around 66 people were killed in India.
