Marriages are made in heaven; receptions are longer down to earth
It’s wedding season, and the sounds of cash registers are drowning out the shehnais. The Rs. 20,000 crore wedding market is set to make up for last year’s 20-25 percent fall in revenue. The upper end of the market (Rs. 5,000 crore) has upped its spending by 15 percent this wedding season.
