Treviso: Natural beauty with positive vibes

The Benetton Group headquarters is based out of Treviso, Italy, and I visit the city once every quarter for official meetings. It is a beautiful representation of suburban land with a serene river flowing through the city, making for a picturesque landscape. The natural beauty of the city, filled with positive vibes, is something that I notice during every visit. In addition to this, the city houses multiple fashion and boutique brands; given my passion for the apparel industry, I love exploring all of them while I go around.
 
Recommendations
My favourite hotel in Treviso is Relais Monaco Country Hotel & Spa. It is surrounded by beautiful vineyards and is one of the most peaceful and tranquil places I have been to. The warmth and hospitality is par excellence.

My favourite restaurant is Ristorante da Celeste, which is situated on the slopes of Montello. It offers majestic views and the food is out of the world. Another favourite is the Le Beccherie, which claims to be the birthplace of the famous tiramisu.

The city offers a wide range of cafes and pizzerias to enjoy work and food simultaneously.

Treviso is a mix of local markets and quaint cafes; therefore I love exploring the city on foot, and run by the riverside whenever possible. It’s the best way to know Treviso, and all that it has to offer. If time is a constraint, I prefer hiring a taxi and looking around from the window while I sip my coffee.
 
After Hours
The city doesn’t offer much to meet the conventional standards of a nightlife, particularly in terms of nightclubs or bars. However, there are multiple cafes that welcome visitors 24x7. Venice, which is considered to be a shopping hub in Italy, is just 20 minutes away from Treviso and definitely my go-to place to shop.

If you are on a slightly longer trip, put on your walking shoes to explore the city. Treviso is a place where you will relish your own company, given its beauty and positive vibe. The city is known for its legacy of food, so try as many cafes as you can to experience its rich gastronomical heritage. The city spoils you with its extraordinary tiramisu
offerings, which are a must-try. 
 
Tips
The city is safe, warm and extremely friendly. Go out and explore it as much as you can. There is nothing
that one should avoid.
