Think It Through

Think With Google is where you get a bit of many things: A glimpse into the minds of experts from various fields, insights and experiences from a range of leaders, trends, and predictions. If it is happening somewhere out there, you will likely find a bit of it here. It has been launched by the team that brought out Google Think Quarterly, the search engine’s answer to the McKinsey Quarterly.

The site has three sections: Think Voices, Think Insights and Think Quarterly.

Think Voices is where you’ll find short videos (each a minute or so long) of people from different industries talking about a specific aspect of their work and how to make it work best. Think Insights gives nuggets of information (based on data) about trends in different industries, among social segments, behaviour patterns and predictions.

If you have found the content sparse and bite-sized so far, move to Think Quarterly where it takes on a different form and character altogether. Written pieces by industry experts and visionaries on what lies ahead are accompanied by pop art work that lends it the look of a magazine. The topics being discussed are varied and real, making them informative and opinionated.

This is perhaps the only section that is visually appealing in an otherwise surprisingly dull-faced Web site.
