4 Residential Marvels of India

Billionaire’s Playground
Omkar 1973, Worli, Mumbai

The project is being marketed as ‘sky bungalows’ and comprises three towers on a 4.5 acre plot in Worli. Recreation facilities and other amenities such as golf simulation sets, cricket nets, a dog park and a crèche will occupy 2.25 lakh sq feet. When completed, residents will be able to make use of a sky lounge and two infinity pools, which scream opulence and give the impression of touching the horizon. Every sky bungalow will have panoramic views of the Bandra-Worli Sea Link. Omkar 1973 carries the promise of top-notch facilities from a developer who knows that this is a make-or-break project for him.

View From The Top
Lodha World One,  Lower Parel, Mumbai

Once completed, Lodha’s World One will not only dominate Mumbai’s skyline, but will also become the world’s tallest residential tower. At 450 metres, this hulking mass of concrete and glass will be taller than Sears Tower in Chicago and the Empire State Building in New York City. It will also have a viewing deck from where one can, on a clear day, see beyond Thane. Kitchen fittings will be imported from Germany and bathroom fixtures from Italy. The tower is expected to consume 250,000 tonnes of concrete, 40,000 square metres of glass, and will take 14 million man hours to construct.

Sail Away
Ahuja Towers, Prabhadevi, Mumbai

The nautical architecture of this tower takes inspiration from the sail boats that line Mumbai’s coastline. Ahuja Towers will have 8 floors of parking with car washes on each floor. A 28-foot high air-conditioned lobby sets the tone for the property. Facilities include conference rooms, a club house with a gym and spa, and an entertainment area with a 16-seater mini theatre. The project comprises two glass towers, each about 200 metres high.

A Haven For Families
Unitech Opulence, Gurgaon

These boutique villas are spread over a 154-acre township in Gurgaon. Space and privacy are unique selling points at Unitech Opulence, which will also have a putting green. Plot sizes vary from 500-1,400 square yards and all homes come with a private pool, and front and back lawns. Like all suburban developments, there’s ample parking space. There’s even a school on the premises. Unitech has billed the project as its most premium offering in NCR.
